Win gets away from Yankees' bullpen

Wang gave 6 1/3 strong innings to keep the Yankees in the game until he reached his predetermined 80-pitch count today. Wang was replaced by Luis Vizcaino after he'd given up a single and a double in the seventh. Vizcaino, in turn, intentionally walked the bases loaded to pave the way for teammate Mike Myers. New York had a 3-2 lead at that point and hopes of ending a sour road trip on an upswing. That's when things took a bad turn.

"I left a breaking ball over the plate, and it's something that's very easy to hit," said Myers of the seventh-inning pitch he watched sail out of the park for a grand slam. With six straight losses away from home, the Yankees are now in the middle of their longest road skid since losing nine straight from Sept. 19 to Oct. 1, 2000. It's a pattern they're eager to break.

A-Rod saves Yanks

In the begining of the season, they seems been not ready for the games. Derek Jeter made some mistake. After Carl Pavano threw 4 1/3 innings on Opening Day and Andy Pettitte lasted four-plus innings on Thursday,Mussina and Igawa didn't control the game. Fortunately ,Rodriguez hit a game-winning grand slam off Chris Ray in the bottom of the ninth inning to sink the Baltimore Orioles, 10-7, and set off a raucous celebration at Yankee Stadium.
